Day 1: Arrival Munduk - Bali treks around MundukOnce you’ve arrived in Munduk and taken up residence in your lovely cottage you’ll head out on a guided hike. Munduk is the starting point for some great treks. Your enthusiastic guide will take you into the countryside, picking all sorts of edible things from the bushes on the way. You’ll visit a waterfall, as well more magnificent rice paddies. Your Bali adventure around Munduk will take around 3-4 hours. |

Day 2: Temple lake tourThe cottages in Munduk are hidden away amongst a sea of flowers and ponds with beautiful views of the valley below.On the second day of your Bali adventure you’ll visit a temple perched on a kind of island in the middle of a blue mountain lake. As you wander around the temple taking in the scenery, you may be lucky enough to see a colourful procession of local Balinese people in traditional dress carrying piles of fruit offerings. Ceremonies are regularly held in this temple, and you're welcome to observe them at a discreet distance. If you're travelling by rental car, it's an easy drive to the temple. |
Day 3: Departure Munduk - End of Bali adventureThis morning, you can take another short trek after breakfast or just enjoy the wonderful scenery from your lazy chair.After your Bali adventure around Munduk, you can continue your trip with a relaxing Indonesia trip on Lovina beach, or explore Forests and Islands on a trip in Indonesia in the west. We can also arrange a transfer to the south, to Ubud or Sanur or enjoy a couple of days of sun and sand in a Bali beach bungalow on the southernmost tip of Bali. |
