On arrival at Denpasar airport, you'll be met in the arrivals hall and driven straight to your peaceful accommodation in Ubud. Ubud is the cultural capital of Bali which means it attracts a lot of tourists but despite its many restaurants, bars and activities, it has still managed to hold on to its authentic charm. During this Ubud tour, you can choose to stay in a stylish Balinese cottage in the rice paddies or in a small, charming hotel in the centre of town.

This Ubud tour includes airport transfer to your Ubud accommodation, two nights in a charming hotel and an excursion to the mystical royal burial complex. Your accommodation is made up of 10 small cottages, each with views across the rippling rice paddies. The cottages are all uniquely decorated, and the pool and massage hut are hidden away in a peaceful setting. Just a few minutes away is the Monkey Forest with thousands of monkeys clambering over the ornate Balinese statues. The day after you arrive you’ll be picked up for a tour through the surrounding countryside of Ubud, visiting several interesting villages home where you’ll find local craftsmen including artists, sculptors and silversmiths. You’ll then cross an area with spectacularly beautiful rice terraces that seem to flow down the hillside like a huge green waterfall. At the bottom of the valley, the mystical royal tombs lie hidden.

Easy going Ubud in the town centre

Amidst the quirky art shops of Ubud, you'll find this pretty hotel with a garden and pool. It’s centrally located but secluded so you'll feel as if you're far away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but in the evening you can just step straight out into the lively little streets for a stroll around town. The rooms are tastefully decorated with lots of wood and bamboo. You’ll also have air-conditioning and a tidy bathroom with private shower and toilet. Breakfast is served out in the poolside garden, a wonderfully tranquil place to start the day. On arrival at the airport you’ll be picked up by your driver and taken straight to your Ubud accommodation where you’ll stay for two nights.
